Introducing Essential and Premium
We’ve simplified our plans to make it easier for you to choose the right level of support for your goals. Our previous tiers, Fitness, Endurance, and All-Star, are being phased out and replaced with Essential and Premium.
Below, you’ll find a quick breakdown of what’s in each plan and how your subscription will transition, whether you’re sticking with your current plan or jumping on our holiday deals.

Best for: Triathletes, duathletes, and performance-focused runners and cyclists with more advanced training and customization needs

Essential vs Premium At A Glance
What Current Users Need to Know
Depending on your current plan, your new subscription may start immediately or at your next renewal date.
If you are happy with your current plan, no action is necessary. You can stay on your current plan for as long as you continue to renew. If you'd like to change, please note that we are starting our Black Friday promotion on Friday, November 28. You'll be able to save 50% on annual plans! If you prefer to pay monthly or want to upgrade now, you can simply visit Your Account any time in the app to adjust your subscription. Depending on your current plan, your new subscription may start immediately or at your next renewal date.
If You’re Not Using the Black Friday Deal
If you’re a current paid user and you’re staying put, you’re all good. Your subscription continues as long as your payment method is valid and auto-renew is active.
You’ll keep your current plan (Fitness, Endurance, or All-Star) until you:
- intentionally switch to Essential or Premium,
- or your subscription ends, and you choose a new plan.
Nothing changes unless you choose to change it.
Immediate Subscription Change
Your plan switches right away (with prorated credit from Stripe, iOS, or Android) if you move from:
Fitness to Essential or Premium
Endurance to Premium
Your plan starts immediately.
Subscription Change at the End of Your Billing Cycle
Your new plan begins when your current cycle expires if you move from:
All-Star to Essential or Premium
Endurance to Essential
Once your current plan ends, you’ll automatically roll into the annual plan.
If You Are Using the Black Friday Deal
Here’s exactly how your transition works, depending on the plan you’re coming from.
Immediate Upgrades (switch happens right away)
Your current plan ends immediately, you receive a prorated credit from your payment provider (Stripe, iOS, or Android), and your discounted Essential or Premium plan starts immediately.
Immediate change applies if you move from:
Fitness to Essential or Premium
Endurance to Premium
End-of-Cycle Transitions (switch happens at renewal)
You keep your current plan until the end of the billing period. When it expires, your new plan begins with the 50% discount applied at that time.
End-of-cycle applies if you move from:
All-Star to Essential or Premium
Endurance to Essential

Monthly Subscribers
If your credit card is on file with auto-renew, and you want to keep your current plan and pricing, you will not need to do anything.
If you opt in to the Black Friday discount and fall under the immediate upgrade scenario (examples above), you’ll receive a prorated credit from your payment provider (Stripe, iOS, or Android), and your discounted Essential or Premium plan will start right away.
If you opt in to the Black Friday discount and fall under the end-of-cycle transition scenario (examples above), you will complete your current monthly billing period before your discounted annual plan begins.
Annual Subscribers
If your credit card is on file with auto-renew, and you want to keep your current plan and pricing, you will not need to do anything.
If you opt in to the Black Friday discount and fall under the immediate upgrade scenario, you’ll receive a prorated credit from your payment provider (Stripe, iOS, or Android), and your discounted Essential or Premium plan will start right away.
If you’re opting in to the Black Friday discount and fall under the end-of-cycle transition scenario, you’ll complete your current annual cycle. At renewal, whether that’s next month or 11 months from now, you’ll automatically receive the 50% off rate.
Free-Trial Users
To receive the Black Friday discount, activate the deal during the sale, and it will be billed following the final day of your free trial. Please note that if you have more than 14 days left in your free trial, your free trial may be reduced to 14 days, as we are shifting to 14-day free trials going forward.

Do current paid users need to switch plans?
No. If you’re on Fitness, Endurance, or All-Star and your credit card is on file with auto-renew, you’ll keep your current plan and pricing.
When should someone switch?
If you want the Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Holiday deal, you’ll need to upgrade or change plans via the sale link (not through the app store).
Do new users need to enter a credit card for the free trial?
Yes, but you won’t be charged until after the 14 days, and you can cancel anytime.
